        The Optode sensor measures the dissolved oxygen concentration in sea water using a lifetime-based luminescence quenching principle. The dataset includes a measured device temperature channel and the oxygen saturation values [%] computed from concentration and temperature. The sensor is used to monitor the oxygen concentration dissolved in sea water and to provide oxygen concentration values needed by the methane sensor calibration formula. Raw Oxygen data as recorded by the Optode sensor from 5 October 2009 until 15 March 2010. The data set is continuous with few gaps (0.048% samples lost). The concentration values are not corrected for sea salinity. True concentration values needs post processing elaboration using salinity data [see Optode manual]. The temperature channel measures the device temperature.
