Description:
Three marine areas located along the Ionian coast, with special characteristics concerning dissolved oxygen concentration in the seawater and release of oxygen consuming gases (CH4, H2S), were studied within the framework of HYPOX project.
These areas were the Aetoliko Lagoon, Amvrakikos Gulf and Katakolo Bay.
